During this lesson I started to plan some of my ideas for the Thriller my group and I will be making. I started off with looking Todorov's theory. Todorov's theory is divided into 5 parts. These parts are explaining the beginning, middle and end but are going into more depth about each part. We looked at a story that is already made about a little girl and we began to develop this information into those 5 stages.
I did this by looking at all the different parts of the story to see what the outline was so that I could start developing my table. This story also gave my ideas on what things I could include in my thriller. These ideas include things such as the people being killed in the town.
Next I started to plan my idea and how my idea could develop further if I was going to make the entire length of the film. I decided that I was going to base it around a normal town with normal living people. The main character would be called Blaze, and she has a mystery stalker that she does not know about. The stalker would poison her drink which turned her possessed. Blaze then starts killing people and causing other trouble around the town. The town members all have to become one group to make sure they kill Blaze so she does not cause any more trouble. This is a Thriller because it has the main idea of a girl becoming possessed. I thought this was a very good idea and perhaps a good film to make as it based around one normal town which people could relate to.
I decided to end it on a cliff hanger as the audience will not know if the town members find the main character Blaze or not.
